About Amanda Rawson

I am a diploma qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist and Strategic Psychotherapist, and I live on the beautiful south coast of NSW.

I have been working in the health industry for many years, since 2003, having completed qualifications as a Fitness Coach/Personal Trainer, and then fully qualified Pilates Instructor. I have competed many courses in movement therapy, accupressure techniques, stretch therapy, holistic counsellor and meditation teacher, Acutonics, sound healing - just to name a few!!

Through my work, I discovered a great passion for helping people, understanding their bodies, dealing with pain and functional movement. What I also discovered is that our thoughts and our beliefs play a huge role, not only how it affects our subconscious behaviours, but also our physical body.

I have personally had great success through clinical hypnosis overcoming poor behaviours I was running about self worth, which led me down the path of negative thinking, drinking too much alcohol, avoidance, procrastination, anxiety and depression, and although movement helped manage my ailments, it was when I addressed my thoughts that everything changed for me.

I then went on the complete my Clinical Hypnotherapy and Strategy Psychotherapy certification through the Institute of Applied Psychology (IAP), a leader in this field, and I am registered with ISPA (International Strategic Psychotherapists Association).

I am committed to constantly keeping up to date with continued professional development to ensure I can offer my clients the best service and information available.

I have turned my own life around practising what I preach, and am keen to help as many others as possible to enjoy the benefits of acquiring a lasting, fresh perspective on life, to live as happy a life as possible
